Full length books I've written but as of yet unpublished,
'Heavyweight Champions of the World 1865-1965
A story of corruption, racism, violence and death.'
The title is self explanatory but I chose the period from the end of the American Civil War, which roughly also saw the end of bare fisted fighting, to the start of the Cassius Clay/Muhammed Ali era. Until the late sixties only one man in the world could claim to be the legitimate heavyweight champion of the world. Now it seems like there's one standing at every corner.

“Golden Eyes”
The novel “Golden Eyes” is a sequel to John Wyndham’s: “The Midwich Cuckoos”. In Wyndham’s novel beings from another world impregnate the female residents of the small English village of Midwich after putting the villagers to sleep overnight. As the children grow up it becomes clear they have a superior intelligence and will go on to dominate the world. This revelation leads to the destruction of the children in Midwich and other parts of the world. This sequel, set fifty years after the original novel proposes that some of the children survived and have been living as humans around the world for the past fifty years. Now, in the year 2007, they reveal themselves and their plans to establish a new world order.
The existence of the Golden Eyes is uncovered by the two main characters in the book: Adam Smith, a sixty year old journalist who works with a small publishing company in London, after resigning from the BBC over its reporting of the Iraq war, and Mary Gallacher, a thirty year old friend and colleague. The scenes switch between the ordinariness of the lives of Adam and Mary to the political paranoia of the eight man Committee for the Investigation of Un-American Activities. The main scenes take place in London, the village of Midwich, the Pentagon, UN in New York, Camp David, and the British Prime Minister’s country home at Chequers. The book culminates in a nuclear attack on the Olympic stadium in Beijing at the opening ceremony for the 2008 Olympic games, resulting in world war three and its aftermath with a twist in the end.

Dawn Rises –The Fourth Reich
In the 1950s British Prime Minister Harold MacMillan and American President Dwight Eisenhower, were negotiating the building of an American Nuclear Submarine base in Scotland. Eisenhower favoured the Holy Loch while MacMillan wanted the base further north: Eisenhower won.
In 1958 an alleged Russian Defector told MI5 that Russia had agents placed in Scotland who would attempt to sabotage the site of the base when it was announced. Peter Wright, a Special Branch officer based in Glasgow, is given the task of finding the saboteurs by MI5 in London and enlists the help of a Russian Captain of a Soviet merchant ship and a former British Commando turned Glasgow safecracker. Their investigations reveal a murder in Murmansk , a secret weapons facility in Argentina and evidence that a neo-Nazi group are planning terrorist attacks in Scotland and America and the establishment of a Fourth Reich. The group are headed by a former Nazi, atomic-scientist and an elusive character known only as: ‘The Scotsman.’
